The 4707th Air Defense Wing is an inactive United States Air Force organization. Its last assignment was with the 26th Air Division, being stationed at Stewart Air Force Base, New York. It was inactivated on 18 October 1956

Replaced 33d Fighter-Interceptor Wing at Otis AFB. Mission to Train and maintain tactical flying units in state of readiness in order to defend Northeast United States.
Reassigned to 32d Air Division and moved to Stewart AFB NY as part of complete reorganization of EADF. Was again reassigned to 26th Air Division in March 1956 when 26th AD region of responsibility was extended to include southeast New York and New York city area.
An Air Defense Command program to reactivate historic Groups and Squadrons named "Project Arrow" resulted in the inactivation of the wing with equipment and personnel being redesignated as 33d Fighter Wing (Air Defense).
